Like most major candy brands, Rolo is a mainstay that has occasionally been the recipient of an oddball flavor spin-off. I documented a pair of these kinds of Rolo wrappers last year, but since then I’ve come across a few others and today I’d like to share them with you.

Today I’m jumping all the way back to 1972 and an offering from Beich’s [Say “Bikes”], a company best known for their seasonal offerings and of course their taffy. Now let’s take a look at their distinctive Dipsy Doodle bar.

While traveling in 2009, I found myself in the candy section of an airport shop when I spotted a box of Wild Ape Grape flavor Krystal Roks. I’d never come across Krystal Roks before, so I grabbed up the wonderfully-illustrated box and went on my way. Several months later I was fortunate to find the other three flavors of Krystal Roks at a retro candy store and today I’d like showcase this neat, four-box set.

The news broke earlier in the week that Mike and Ike are back together. I’ll be devoting a pretty significant post to this story in the coming months, but I had this neat Mike and Ike Easter box from a decade ago, so I wanted to mention it today.
