NYCC26 Day Two!! Highlight of highlights, my dea NYCC26 Day Two!!

Highlight of highlights, my dear friend (and Wonder Woman fan) Dr. Jessica Krant @drkranttheskinmd joined me at the convention for a good bit of walking and talking. We’ve been friends for thirty years and she is one of my most valued inner circle of chosen family. ❤️

It was also lovely to catch up with the talented Chris Sotomayor @sotocolor - a brilliantly talented colorist and artist.

I met Chris thirty years ago when I was an X-Men editor- but something he reminded me of this week was that I gave him his first big break. 🤯 And since that job, Chris has been working consistently for three decades.

Hearing that story was so wonderful and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. I gotta say, it’s awfully nice to be reminded that I did some good for someone when I was in that office. Oftentimes my memories of that period can be more about the challenges - but knowing I helped a ridiculously t
