A Fun one for Friday: Rowntree’s 1970’s TEX bar!

Posted on January 11, 2013 by Jason Liebig

Back in March of last year, I wrote about Rowntree UK’s nostalgic 70’s favorite, the Texan bar.  What I didn’t know at the time was that around that same period in Rowntree’s history, their South African branch produced a different … Continue reading →

Big thanks to @PebblesCereal and @BonesCoffeeCompa Big thanks to @PebblesCereal and @BonesCoffeeCompany for sending me a sample of their collaboration cereal-inspired coffee!

I’ve become a dedicated coffee drinker later in life, and it’s been an evolution I have embraced. Shifting to more ground coffee (as opposed to k-cups) along with various flavored creams and syrups (often blended with barista-mastery by @amymonteliebig) makes the fun of the crafting a part of the ritualistic experience! Not that I’ll turn down a black coffee. ☕️

Because of all of that, we were already Bones Coffee fans in our house, and obviously I’m a Pebbles cereal fan.

My assessment of the coffee is, it’s very good and it’s entered into our regular rotation.

That said, I find flavored coffees to often have their flavors become subtle underneath the coffee flavors itself. So it’s not as if I “taste” Pebbles Cinnamon cereal when I drink this black. It’s still delicious and cinnamon-y, but you should come to it realistically.😄

Again thanks to the brands for teaming up on this and I appreciate the sample. It’s being put to good use! #gifted
