Across the country, the College Football season kicks off this weekend and as a Nebraska alum and fan, I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve written about my college football enthusiasm before, when I covered the unwrapping of a 30-year-old Cornhuskers chocolate bar back in 2012.
Today is all about celebrating the return of everyone’s own favorite teams and in order to do that, I’ll be showcasing packaging for the fifty-two different collegiate bars I was able to pick up from the Russell Stover website. Without further ado, check out Russell Stover’s many collegiate chocolate bar boxes.
Russell Stover has a bar/box design resembling currency that it uses for seasonal releases as well as their collegiate lineup of chocolate bars. Each of the collegiate bars receive limited distribution, logically focusing on the areas where they will encounter fans of each specific team. So for instance, you’ll only find Nebraska Huskers bars at stores in Nebraska and Michigan State Spartan bars at stores in Michigan. Due to this fact, acquiring a full set of these college bars would appear to be a daunting task requiring cross-country travel. Fortunately for me, the Russell Stover website allows you to order every single one of them available and have them delivered to your door. It’s fun when that happens.
