When considering the history of confectionery packaging and branding, one of the things that is fascinating to look back upon are industry sales materials. These are the kinds of brochures, flyers and catalogs that retail customers would likely have never seen. Rather, these would have been used to sell to store owners, wholesalers and the like. The reason that they’re so interesting is that they often feature product photos that cannot be found anywhere else, as well as featuring imagery of store displays and related point-of-purchase decorations and materials. That is certainly the case with today’s subject.
