Back in 2008, the Topps company ventured out of their traditional areas of confection,\u00a0 producing a pair of weird and wacky colorful candy bars called Wazoo.\u00a0\u00a0 Make the jump to check out these unusual offerings.<\/p>\n

When I first saw a Wazoo bar, my initial thought was that these were a Wonka product.\u00a0 They have all the markings of one; a sprinkling of what appears to be Nerds on the top as well as the over-the-top colors and the name of the candy itself.\u00a0 In my opinion this was a pretty great effort by Topps to out-Wonka, Wonka.<\/p>\n

Sadly, the Wazoo couldn’t find a foothold in the ever-competitive world of candy and appears to have not made it past 2010.<\/p>\n

It’s always great when an established company like Topps takes a chance to give us something out-of-the-ordinary.\u00a0 The Wazoo bar didn’t catch on, but I think the effort deserves a place of honor in the Hall of Short-Lived Candy.<\/p>\n
