Pom Poms.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Pom Poms have been around at least since the 1940&#8217;s, and along with Sugar Babies and Junior Mints, were originally a part of the Welch&#8217;s family of candies.\u00a0 By the 1970&#8217;s, however, all of the Welch&#8217;s candy brands had become a part of Nabisco Confections, and that&#8217;s when this parody sticker hit shelves.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4166\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.collectingcandy.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=4166\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4166\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4166\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4166\" title=\"CC_WackyPackages_BumBums_Series 6 1974\" src=\"http:\/\/www.collectingcandy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/CC_WackyPackages_BumBums_Series-6-1974.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"733\" srcset=\"http:\/\/collectingcandy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/CC_WackyPackages_BumBums_Series-6-1974.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/collectingcandy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/CC_WackyPackages_BumBums_Series-6-1974-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4166\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bum Bums - from Topps&#39; Wacky Packages Series 6 - 1974<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Bum Bums is a fine parody, though there&#8217;s not as much direct word-play across all the elements of the package. \u00a0 I do especially like the &#8220;The candy that&#8217;s good to handout&#8221;
