Toffifay - no price - 4-pack candy wrapper - late 1970&#39;s to early 1980&#39;s<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Before I show any more wrappers, I&#8217;d like to detour a bit, and talk about the candy and the inner tray that held it.<\/p>\n<p>The candy, for those that have never had a Toffifay, is very European &#8211; with a core of a hazelnut &#8211; something I&#8217;d never had before this treat.\u00a0 The look of the candy was great too, with a spot of dark chocolate on the top that, if you were like me, you could pop off with your teeth and eat separately.\u00a0 So the candy itself was distinctive, and remains a favorite of mine.<\/p>\n<p>The tray that held the candy was a thing of beauty, and it really set it apart.\u00a0 I first discovered Toffifay about the same time that Star Wars hit theaters, and the gold plastic Toffifay trays made for very cool pieces in custom builds of all sorts of scenarios for my action figures.\u00a0 I&#8217;m pleased to report that Toffifay are still housed in the very same kind of craft-worthy inner trays.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a few shots of one I picked up last month:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3456\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.collectingcandy.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=3456\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3456\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3456\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3456\" title=\"CC_Toffifay plastic tray -
