During the Summer of 2017, Hershey’s of Canada<\/a> released an amazing series of special edition Twizzlers packaging featuring artwork by four talented artists.\u00a0 This promotion was called Twizzlers Twisted Shout-Outs<\/a> and resulted in sixteen different striking Twizzlers packs.\u00a0 Make the jump to check them out!<\/p>\n

I first became aware of the Twizzlers Twisted Shoutout packs via Instagram<\/a>, seeing them on a Canadian friend’s account.\u00a0 Once I saw them, I set out to acquire a complete set for myself.\u00a0 And with the help of a few Canadian friends as well as a weekend jump up north myself, I managed to do just that.<\/p>\n

I found the promotion especially appealing because it was just the sort of thing I’d envisioned doing myself if I were to ever consult on a candy brand; I’d want to tap my experience working in the comic book industry and bring in unusual designers and artists to create visually arresting packaging that was also limited and special.\u00a0\u00a0 Well, that’s exactly what Hershey’s of Canada did!<\/p>\n

[Note: Hershey’s of Canada employed the advertising firm Anomaly<\/a> and creative studio Nice Shoes<\/a> to bring the Twisted Shoutout promotion and packaging to life!]<\/p>\n

They also created a pretty great Twisted Shoutouts website<\/a> featuring videos and artist bios that I’m going to crib here.\u00a0 Here are the artists that they called upon for this cool series:<\/p>\n
