Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!\u00a0 While there was a lot of great new Valentine’s seasonal offerings this year, I’ve only time for one post.\u00a0 I’m choosing to dedicate today’s feature on the six new-for-2017 Just Born boxed Valentine’s seasonal offerings – with three new Mike and Ike and three new Hot Tamales boxes.\u00a0 Make the jump to check them out!<\/p>\n

I’ve covered Valentine’s Mike and Ike and Hot Tamales boxes from previous years before, back when they last redesigned their seasonal packaging in 2014<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 This year, they’ve broke with tradition and instead of giving us just a pair of new boxes, we get six!\u00a0\u00a0 It’s pretty awesome and since I’m traveling right now I’ll keep my commentary to a minimum and get to the goodies.\u00a0 First up are the Mike and Ike’s. These have a fun, loose design sense about them that I think works quite nicely:<\/p>\n

While the Valentine’s Hot Tamales box featured the last few years returns this year at most retail outlets, Target stores got a Valentine’s exclusive for 2017 in the form of three different Hot Tamales boxes.\u00a0 First, here’s a look at the box that’s been on shelves the last few years:<\/p>\n

I really dig what Just Born did with their sextet of new Valentine’s candy boxes for 2017 – it’s great stuff (and from a collecting standpoint, chasing six boxes is always more fun than chasing two).<\/p>\n
