Back in the early 1980’s, the Fleer company merged classic stick candy with rubber Halloween finger puppets to create a unique and outstanding confectionery offering called Goblin Stix.\u00a0 Make the jump to check them out!<\/p>\n

Before we start, it should be noted that Fleer’s Goblin Stix are another awesome bit of candy history you won’t find anywhere else online, so these are a CollectingCandy.com world premier exclusive!<\/p>\n

Monster finger puppets have been around for decades and most folks might remember them from dime store checkouts or as gumball machine prizes.\u00a0 But for Fleer Goblin Stix, they were placed upon Halloween-themed candy sticks to form a visually appealing (and value-added) Halloween offering.<\/p>\n

I’m fortunate to have a near-full display of Fleer Goblin Stix to be able to share today.\u00a0 Here they are:<\/p>\n

Kids must have loved the opportunity to get their seasonal candy fix along with the bonus of a toy that they could keep with them afterwards.\u00a0 The display encourages consumers to “Collect all 6” of the finger puppet toppers consisting of: Ghost, Witch, Devil, Bat, Jack-O-Lantern, and Skeleton.<\/p>\n

I took a number of photos of the display and I’ve decided to share the best batch of those pics so that you can get a clear idea of how cool this unusual offering was.<\/p>\n
